Comment : Bought a used MKZ about 2 weeks ago. Next day camera stops working. next day after that got the front bumper caught on one of those parking lot little curbs. Back the car up and the bumper not only cracks but it separates from it's clip housing by the drivers side headlight to reveal Staples holding it together. I bring it back to Alvarez and have no less than 4 people looking at it giving opinions. Pictures are taken and the promise of having a talk with upper management and body shop people to look at it is the talk, making me feel that they'd somehow try to help me out. Fast forward a week later when I'm asked to come in and told I'd be given a loaner while the camera and other work was being done. Sat there for 3 1/2 hours being told the cameras being fixed and someone was coming to give them a estimate on the repair. I finally had to tell them I had to go to work and they brought my car with the camera done ( they forgot to program it so I gotta waste another half day for them to do that now). Service manager George says ,"they're not fixing your bumper", hands me my key and just walks away. I acknowledge it was my fault, but to be led on thinking I was gonna get some type of help or they would see how crappily this was manufactured they'd just bite the bullet seeing as I paid $16k plus to them for the car. Then I called Lincoln customer care and was basically told we don't use Staples to put our cars together. So you got the dealership washing it's hands and the maker of the car saying I'm wrong. I was told to call my insurance company if I wanted my car fixed. Be wary buying a used car from these people. They're Lincoln portion is being sold soon so anything you buy here you'll have to find somewhere else to have it serviced. Pretty shady if you ask me. Got your money now move along.
