Comment : Had an appointment for Thursday at 7:30. Got my vehicle in and waited all day with no word. Called at the end of day and they said we are now looking at it. Ok so took another day off work to get it fixed. Guess what? Waited till end of day for the same answer. What's the point of an appointment? I needed my car for the weekend so had to take it back. They gave me every excuse about everything. If I would've got a call and said we are busy, we are behind, we are missing a tech, etc, I would've been alright but no. So now I have to take more time off to find another place.

Comment : BEWARE!!! I asked the employee at the 9th street location to replace a front tire on Mizzou student's 2023 Volkswagen Jetta with 17,000 miles as it had a sidewall puncture. I received a bill for $2,200+ for tires, alignment and various and sundry other engine maintenance services. BTW, the car had recently, 5-6000 miles ago, visited the Volkswagen Dealer for a head-to-toe check-up with a clean bill of health. We have hired a lawyer and are disputing these extra charges. DO NOT PATRONIZE THESE PEOPLE.

Comment : These guys spent a lot of time and expense trying to fix an impossible situation with a twenty year old foreign car that's no longer being made. They were very fair and understanding and will return with my other cars for care and maintenance.

3 weeks after said repairs I called All Star and said "My vehicle is having worse issues and I need it looked at". I was told to figure out a way to get it towed in. In my opinion if I pay thousands of dollars for a company to do on the job training and nothing is resolved, I shouldn't have to pay squat

I use my vehicle for work so it's very difficult for me to be with out it. So when I got it back it was either be without truck again for days/week or just scratch it up as a loss and try another mechanic.

The reason for 3 stars instead is 1 is that my previous visit wasn't like this.'>

Comment : Went in there because my truck was running doggy. After a $6k bill I was told that they THINK they got the issue fixed. For about half a day it ran semi-normal and then went back to running doggy.

The fact that I was told they weren't sure what the issue was but still charged me $6,000 basically for a trouble shooting mission.
