Comment : My dad's car, a 2007 model, broke down last week and was towed by AAA to this shop. They charged a $189 diagnostic fee but it counts towards the overall repair if they do the repair, and they diagnosed the radiator was leaking and needed to be replaced, all good, until they quoted my dad $1,200.00 to replace the radiator. I think that was high so I called another place and they charged less than $400. I don't know if this shop is charging that much because they are AAA recommended, but it's way too expensive in my opinion. And a note for others, when those tow trucks from AAA strongly "suggest" to tow your car to a "AAA recommended" shop like they did to my dad, don't listen to them. Tow to a shop that you know and you have worked with before. And shop around, it's your right.

Comment : I really appreciate the over and above service we received at Affordable Car Care. My elderly mom had an alert ringing in her car, she immediately pulled over across the street. I called and explained the situation. Ed walked across the street, drove her car to the shop, took care of the problem, ran a diagnostic to check why the check engine light was on, also fixed that and sent mom on her way, safe and sound. Customer service beyond belief!! Thank you for your honest, and prompt service :)

Comment : I called to check on service and was told they charge a dignostic fee, but if they do the work the cost of the diagnostic goes to the repairs. After a couple hours they call and said they couldn't find the problem and now they have to do an "electronic diagnostic" and that fee is $280 and does not apply to repairs. At that point felt like they had me stuck. I expressed my frustration because I had specifically asked about diagnostic fees and that they did not fully communicate there were tiers of diagnostics with different conditions. Will never take my care back to them and will active recommend people not take their car there. Also car was not ready when they said it would be. Asked about AAA discount and they said they don't offer any.
