Comment : This was the first visit to Christian Brothers Automotive Westinghouse Road. I made an appointment and requested oil change, state inspection, air and cabin air filters. Dropped the car off and meet with Lance the Service manager. Gave me an estimate and told me they would contact be when vehicle was ready as well as send me updates which it was being service. They sent me texts letting me know the vehicle was in the shop, it passed inspection, oil was changed using synthetic oil, waiting for cabin air filter. I had received a text with a photo letting me know that the engine air filter looked brand new. I usually keep track of things like that but fail to note that I had recently replaced the air filter, my error. When I picked up the vehicle, the air filter charge had been removed. The service was outstanding. If you are looking for a professional, honest, competent, friendly auto service shop, choose CBA, you will be pleasantly surprised. My biggest regret is that it took me so long to find them.

Comment : On 12/22/25 Advanced Auto took advantage of my daughter whose car broke down on I95. Charged 4X the normal price for parts, conducted additional services not asked for. Exorbitantly high labor charges/hour. Even charged 5% extra for use of a credit card, I thought that was now illegal in Virginia. Unfortunately if you breakdown in that area there are few choices. If you can steer clear of these guys.

Comment : Do not do business with this shop! Warning about Advanced Truck & Auto in Doswell, VA. We broke down at the Love s in Ruther Glen, VA. We called to have us towed to the Boss Truck shop a mile down the road. Anytime Towing picked us up and suggested to tow it to Advanced Truck & Auto. We like to support local businesses, so we said sure. It took about 15 minutes to diagnose the problem of replacing all 6 injectors at the cost of $13,000. We just put $20,000 in repairs in her, so we said no. We took a rental car from Richmond airport to pick up our other truck, in Ocala to come back to get our truck and load. As we were heading up with our other truck, we had to have it towed to our shop in Ocala, FL. After it was fixed, we headed up to get our truck and trailer. They were closed Saturday and Sunday, so we picked it up on Monday. However, we had to pay a storage fee of $200 a day, so we had to pay a total of $1200 just for the storage fee, and pay another 500 to get the broken down truck towed to Doswell truck stop. Please, if you can help it, save yourself from the same nightmare. On a side note, we wanted two of the good tires from the broken down truck to replace two on our other truck. They quoted us a price of $750. Doswell truck stop did it for $35 per tire. Once you go in, look for a hosing!Do not do business with this shop! Warning about Advanced Truck & Auto in Doswell, VA.
