Comment : I would not recommend this shop. They seem nice and upfront. Took our Tahoe in for some major warranty work. This shop came back with a list of things we needed. Some maybe necessary some I believe made up. One in particular $800 for a hub and bearing they claimed was going out. They said it was obviously noisy and when I questioned the noise they restated oh there was play in the wheel on the rack. Their story on issues changed when questioned. They also wanted to do a water pump for leaking , our water pump was done 6 months ago, and is fine. The hub and bearing they claimed needed replaced (we double checked with a different shop) is fine. They also recommended transmission fluid changed said it was needed with filter for $800. It had been done 5000 miles ago so also unnecessary and overpriced. They seem nice and professional. The guy we worked with either didn t know what he was talking about or was a crook point blank.I would not recommend this shop. They seem nice and upfront. Comment : I took my car into their shop because my sunroof was closed, but not completely sealed (nothing could get in but it d make a high pitched noise from all the wind while driving), and asked them if they could seal it a little better for me. Told them the track to the sunroof was broken and that I didn t want to replace the track, just wanted to see if they could seal it better.Picked up the car later and the sunroof was open allowing dust and water in. Told them about it and asked them to fix it back to the original position and they said they couldn t do it without replacing the track, which of course is $3500. Nothing was offered to me. Comment : Everyone here has always been very nice, honest, and polite. I've been having money troubles so I've had to go a couple times just to see what was wrong with my car. They tell me every single thing and I never feel pressured to proceed with something I can't afford. When I do need something done it's not outrageously expensive like other places are. Comment : I have a used car that needed an overhaul and found Advanced Auto efficient, knowledgeable, courteous and reasonably priced. They treated me and my vehicle well and I have no reservations about recommending them to friends and family.
