Comment : I rated the shop a 4 due to the lack of communication. My car was towed there on a Tuesday morning at 9am. I called and left a message for a call back, to discuss my vehicle. No call. Wednesday - no call, so I called again. I left another message around 11am. No call. I called again right before closing (about 4:30pm) and demanded that someone tell me something. What was found, what's the charge, how long will I need to leave my car there... something. I finally had someone give me a call back and provide the info. My car was repaired on Thursday. I just feel like something should have been communicated to me and I not have to keep calling.

Comment : AAA recommended that our stalled 2021 Tahoe be towed to Acadiana Transmission for repair and offered a 10% discount. Acadiana Transmission does not service fuel pumps for this vehicle and we had to move it to Service Chevrolet for service. AAA should know if an auto shop they recommend can do the work.

Comment : I was really grateful that the extensive repairs could be made over three days--Wednesday through Friday. That was really, really welcome. The only things that were not ideal is that final bill was several hundred dollars over the estimate--but I understand how that can be. Also, when I started to leave the region on Saturday for a long trip--lights went on again on dashboard. Not sure what that was about, but troubleshooted with friends, and we realized that a flat tire the week before on the passenger side rear led to a tire shop selling a mismatched tire (which I didn't realize at the time). I'm wondering if it was that tire which led to the transmission failure. We ended up buying two new rear tires before driving further. It's just one of those things, but I wonder if the shop might have realized that might have been the original issue. Car has been fine the past 3,000 miles, and I'm grateful for your help, and for the troubleshooting afterwards that led to the new tire purchase, I hesitate to think what would have happened if I hadn't bought new tires, and the mismatched tires ruined the work you all did.

Comment : These negative reviews look so ridicules. Go hate the REAL bad guys! I have had the complete opposite experience, so.... I had brought my older, very high-milage '10 Fusion to Joe and family to have the transmission rebuilt, fluid was like burnt peanut butter, trashed! lol. What I paid is not anybody's GD business, when a skilled and trained professional performs life saving repair on a vehicle that would otherwise be blown to pieces, YOU PAY! Ford transmissions in the fusions are TRASH to begin with, his total rebuild had this car smoother and running better than ever- They even honored a warranty that was long expired for a minor issue that actually was related to some other non-sensical ford thing that we just have to live with, rather than any prior work. Pretty amazing people as far as I am concerned. 285,347miles and still rockin! Thanks Guys! David

Comment : Even though I arrived about 45 minutes before closing, the crew did everything to make sure I was back on the road before dark. I was on my way home from visiting family, frantic, didn't know anyone or have anywhere to go. They were awesome!
