Comment : On the way home from dinner Friday night my car completely lost power steering…and then all electricity. The tow company asked us where we wanted to take our car at 2am and we found AAA Powell randomly on a quick Google search. I called AAA Powell first thing Saturday morning at 8am when they opened and spoke with Dan, who was friendly and empathetic to my situation (my car’s never broken down before!). He said they had several cars dropped off overnight and that he would call me back with an update as soon as possible. By 11am they had diagnosed the problem (alternator) and offered me a price quote over the phone that included a $26 AAA member discount. I agreed to the plan and Dan said they would call me when it was completed. I got a call around 3pm from Zach that my vehicle was good to go and ready for pickup! I was over the moon that AAA was able to get my car fixed in the same day and that everyone was so friendly and easy to work with. Never needed a mechanic before this (knock on wood) but I’ll definitely be saving their contact information in my phone for the future, should the need arise!

Comment : Long time customer but will be looking for a new service provider. Customer service has gone downhill. Having an appointment time is merely a place in line - they will get to your car “eventually”. Was told they are “like a doctors office” and that they will work on my car when they get to it - despite having an appointment. Prices are no longer competitive either, even with AAA membership discount.

Comment : Took car in to have some repairs done (replace a connector on the exhaust system) and when we got it back it ran louder, whined, and clanked when turning the wheel. Took it right back and they kept it for a few days to charge us another 2 grand to replace more stuff. I do it. Pick it up and nothing has changed except that the whining got worse. Bring it back in again and the guy that seemed to be getting trained by the manager the last two times was very rude and complained about bringing back in even after we spent 3k to basically have nothing fixed. The manager said they would take a look and fix it free if charge. Normally I'd be happy about this but after a week I came back to pick it up and the rude man before said, and I quote, "No charge on this fix. I don't understand why but he said we would replace the power steering piece for free." Gave me the keys and said "drive it for a thousand miles because it will make a sound until it gets some wear on it" that is straight BS but I took the keys and started it up and again no change. He also said the printer wasn't working so he couldn't give me a receipt and to come back in a few days to get one which I did and then was told they didn't have a record of that work being done. I've always gone to aaa but I guarantee that I won't ever again. Absolutely horrible experience over the course of three weeks. Now two months later and over a thousand miles put on it (had this work done since we were driving across the country) and it still rattles, rumbles, whines, and takes way too much effort to turn the wheel while making a crunching noise. Do not use this location.

Comment : I would not recommend this shop. I was told I needed to change my brake fluid and was shown a test strip indicating I needed to. I checked it myself using an electronic tester and it showed only 1% corrosion, and you need to change at 3%. Very disappointed and would not come here again.

Comment : I enjoy this location. Staff is always so nice. They are 100 percent fair and honest, I believe. I thought I had an alignment issue, and they had recently done one on my car, and when I called to inform them, they told me to come in, and they would check it out at no cost ! I thought that was really awesome! No, Hassel or drama happens here. Clean location, and they offer a free tire air pump on the side of the building if you need air who doesn't love free?! Also they will do an estimate for you if you need something and try to find the best deal they can do i do believe they go above and beyond for customers and I'll continue to use this location in the future thanks for being welcoming and awesome!I enjoy this location. Comment : Got help from AAA when my battery got discharged. They tested it and diagnosed that it was just a loose connection. They charged nothing from me on this help. 5 star to them.
