Comment : I am at AAA East Brunswick while writing this review. Me and my retired father came at about 12:00pm for battery replacement as we purchased our car battery at AAA about 7 months ago and now that same battery is dead, when we arrived at the store, we were told to wait for about an hour but it has been 3:39pm almost 4 hours and the battery is still not replaced.

They said we gonna charge it and see but never really confirmed how much time it's going to take and I lost all my appointments for the day.

This is not the professionalism we expect from AAA.

Comment : UPDATE! It’s now July. After 3 months of car rental bills and a credit union loan later, I finally purchased a car. Yes, no more rental fees after AAA broke my steering wheel after an alignment went horribly wrong 4/3/26, and after telling me the job was done and giving me the keys to drive it KNOWING the steering wheel wouldn’t lock and turned like a spinning top. After putting me in a dangerous and life-threatening situation, after no acknowledgment of what happened to my car that day or ever, after refusing to give me a copy of the techs incident report, after leaving me stranded in the “care” center lobby with no way home (No Mgr offered me a Lyft) and the next day refunding $120 (ONLY AFTER I asked for it), and after towing my doomed 1998 Toyota Camry to the junkyard 8 days later, and after being told by the Manager (who boasts about their certified techs) that my car couldn’t be fixed or restored back to it’s original state. Then after they changed the story saying they offered to fix my car and I refused…why would I do that???
Note: the only way I’d refuse is if I had to pay for it. And, a measly $400 offer was made but Manager refused to put it in writing and a few days later rescinded the offer and said their legal team said they weren’t obligated to do any more for me??? …Unacceptable!!!

Well, after unexpectedly driving a rental car for 2-3 months while working 2 jobs shopping looking for a car, taking time from work, spending hours searching online and local areas, emotionally consumed with this sudden situation and incurring unplanned costs due to the negligence of this company, they refuse to be responsible and pay my car rental fees…and I also had to get a loan just to buy a car…really??? How can AAA believe they don’t owe me for those expenses when they’re at fault?

They neglected to care for my car, my safety…my life, and now refuse to care about the financial burden their negligence caused me? I will never trust AAA car care center to “care” for anything…ever!!! Shame on AAA leadership of Edison, NJ.

Note: unless you are requesting my car rental and loan balances with intention to reimburse me do not ask me to come to your private email. Since Tony/Mike/Mgr said the legal team is aware, then your legal team can request my incurred fees & expenses in writing via mail.

Please Don’t send the “We’re sorry for the inconvenience this may have caused you” automatic reply until you make this right…THEN I’ll believe it!
