Comment : I have been a AAA Member for 27 years in various states. I choose AAA Auto Repair when I move because it's a place where ASE certified mechanics work. My VW needs regular skilled maintenance at a reasonable price.

I personally find Dover AAA technicians are honest, skilled and don't cut corners; AAA Customer Service is patient and fair, too. It's a busy store that keeps people on the road and safe.

Hey, I get it. It's not always great news for people who just want the cheapest fix. Be confident you are not getting "hustled" at AAA Auto Repair on repairs you don't need. They are just too busy for that in Dover.

Please don't spend $800 on a fancy cell phone and not invest regularly in keeping your auto working right. You are asking for financial trouble. Car parts wear out and there is no way around regular auto maintenance. Full stop. This is a great place to get it done Right.

Comment : I had my car break down after labor day while on vacation in DE. AAA towed my car to this location and I had to get back to my home state for work that night. Despite phones being down due to an electrical fire while my car was at the shop, Bernard made great efforts to keep me and my father posted on the status of the car and provided excellent (!!!) customer service. He was on top of the situation and I got my car back by 6 pm to head back home. Great experience despite the unfortunate cirumstances! 5/5 stars!

Recvd reply from AAA to respond to they email to resolve this situation with a refund & they never responded so they DO NOT want to resolve this!

Update:
Had another tow company pick up my vehicle today with little notice to them had it checked out somewhere else right away, saw engine light on now that wasn’t there before ‘ the car is running which they never notified me before was just notified by management I was gonna have to start with spending over 300 dollars to get started & it’s a domino effect down hill from there.

I believe they replaced that messed up battery & didn’t tell me so it would look a different way.

They can’t be trusted with customer services !

is not professional & speaks to customers in a condescending way, back handed comments when trying to explain car issues. Smart Alec responses. First encounter he was talking to me in a disrespectful manner
If I could give a negative zero I would !!! All I can tell you if you do & if anything is under warranty such as a battery & you want to bring it in for testing after purchasing it, he will not honor that by turning you down on the phone first instead of offering great customer service & asking you to bring the vehicle in for them to look at !!!! He flipped me off & got off the phone abruptly, therefore I couldn’t trust anything further work being done at that shop on my vehicle because of him. He is ruining that locations business!!!!
Had my car taken from that location due to that Manager who also was laughing it up thought it was funny I was having it picked up! Good thing I didn’t leave it there!!!! Apparently there are no consequences for his rude behind!!!
Dealing with vehicles but hands shaking like crazy for some reason. That’s not good!
Good Luck maybe that location is going to need it!!!

He seems to thinks it’s funny when calling asking for someone else while passing the call to them!!!! He is not professional with customer service ashame!!!

Comment : I went into the Dover AAA to get an International license for my upcoming trip. I was asked if I was a member. I wasn't. Monica told me that they were running a promotion and that my $75/year membership would include a $30 gas card. Sounded like a good deal so I purchased the membership. This was back in June - I have yet to receive my gas card. I haven't contacted Monica on numerous occasions to only be told that there is nothing she can do. After many attempts she finally told me that she escalated my account and information to the appropriate department and that they would get in touch with me...........2 weeks later and still nothing. I have asked for a refund numerous times and my request has been ignored. This is nothing but a SCAM! POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE - I WOULD NEVER JOIN AAA AGAIN.
