Comment : Updated Review – AAA Annapolis (Nov 29, 2025) – 3 Stars
Update to my previous review: I returned to AAA Annapolis on November 29, 2025, and I did notice clear improvement compared to my last visit. The location appears to be under new leadership, and the changes in how the service center is run are showing in a positive way.
Scheduling:
A few days before my appointment, I called and spoke with a service advisor who was very pleasant and accommodating. They made sure all the services I needed were included and provided an estimate ahead of time, which I appreciated.
Service Experience:
At my appointment, I was greeted by Scott, who handled my service. He was friendly, energetic, and professional. After the inspection, he sent me a detailed report and called to go over the recommended services. He had the quotes ready, completed the additional service I approved, and notified me promptly when my car was ready.
Checkout:
When I returned to check out, another advisor assisted me since Scott was helping another customer. They reviewed the completed services, future recommendations, and the estimated pricing, noting that some parts might need to come from my dealership.
Improvement Noted:
A major issue from my previous visit was incorrect tire PSI. This time, Scott made sure the PSI was set correctly according to the manufacturer’s specifications and even documented it in my service report. That attention to detail stood out.
Overall:
This visit was significantly better than my previous experience, and the staff was more attentive and thorough. While I appreciate the improvements, I am choosing to update my rating to 3 stars for now. If the service remains consistent on future visits, I’ll be open to raising the rating again.
—————————————————————
I’ve been a loyal customer of the AAA Annapolis location for many years, bringing in multiple vehicles over time. Unfortunately, I’ve noticed a clear decline in the quality of customer service, especially in recent visits.
I recently brought my crossover in for a routine oil change and tire rotation, on July 18, 2025. Part of that service includes checking and adjusting the air pressure in the tires. What should have been a simple task turned into a frustrating experience. Despite the fact that crossover vehicles typically require different tire pressures for the front and rear tires (as specified by the manufacturer), they put the same amount of air in all four tires. When I pointed this out, instead of taking the initiative to correct it, I was met with, “What do you want us to do?” That response alone showed a lack of professionalism and understanding.
Even after I specifically asked them to adjust the tire pressures according to the manufacturer’s specs, they said they did — but when I drove off and went around the corner, I decided to double-check myself. Sure enough, all four tires still had the exact same pressure. Nothing had been done, despite what I was told.
What’s most disappointing is that I’ve always trusted this location, largely due to the previous leadership and even the temporary staff who stepped in during the leadership transition. They upheld high standards. But the current team doesn’t seem to meet those same expectations. It’s frustrating to feel that the quality of care and attention to detail has dropped off so noticeably.
I continue to use this location mainly because of its convenience — it’s surrounded by shops and makes it easy to run errands while my car is being serviced. But convenience shouldn’t come at the cost of competent service. I expect more when I’m paying to have my vehicle maintained, and I truly hope this location can get back to the level of service it once had. They need to do better.
