After getting service for two flat tires and an alignment in June, I discovered they had added unwanted warranties to my bill without informing me. They also refused to issue a refund. More recently, someone I know had their tires repaired here, and when they went to pick up the car, the air conditioning had stopped working. Rather than taking responsibility, the shop wanted to charge for a diagnostic. Extremely disappointing experience. I do not recommend this place. 1 Reviews Kea cannon Annapolis, MD Reviewed : 07/18/2025 Comment : I’ve been a loyal customer of the AAA Annapolis location for many years, bringing in multiple vehicles over time. Unfortunately, I’ve noticed a clear decline in the quality of customer service, especially in recent visits.I recently brought my crossover in for a routine oil change and tire rotation, on July 18, 2025. Part of that service includes checking and adjusting the air pressure in the tires. What should have been a simple task turned into a frustrating experience. Despite the fact that crossover vehicles typically require different tire pressures for the front and rear tires (as specified by the manufacturer), they put the same amount of air in all four tires. When I pointed this out, instead of taking the initiative to correct it, I was met with, “What do you want us to do?” That response alone showed a lack of professionalism and understanding.Even after I specifically asked them to adjust the tire pressures according to the manufacturer’s specs, they said they did — but when I drove off and went around the corner, I decided to double-check myself. Sure enough, all four tires still had the exact same pressure. Nothing had been done, despite what I was told. What’s most disappointing is that I’ve always trusted this location, largely due to the previous leadership and even the temporary staff who stepped in during the leadership transition. They upheld high standards. But the current team doesn’t seem to meet those same expectations. It’s frustrating to feel that the quality of care and attention to detail has dropped off so noticeably.I continue to use this location mainly because of its convenience — it’s surrounded by shops and makes it easy to run errands while my car is being serviced. But convenience shouldn’t come at the cost of competent service. I expect more when I’m paying to have my vehicle maintained, and I truly hope this location can get back to the level of service it once had. They need to do better. 1 Reviews Melody alićia Annapolis, MD Reviewed : 07/14/2025 Comment : I started my journey to get my middle brake light fixed on June 2, 2025. It is July 14th now and my car is still not fixed. I have went to the Waugh Chapel location and now the Annapolis location and my backseat is not attached appropriately and my brake light is still broken and hanging down. I cannot believe this is the quality of service I have received after being a member for decades. This has been a nightmare. If I could give no stars, I would. 1 Reviews Brandon white Annapolis, MD Reviewed : 06/06/2025 Comment : There seems to be a trend of poor service at this location, based on recent reviews. We had a car towed here after experiencing flat tires. While the actual repair work was fine, the issue arose with the billing. They added warranties we never requested and failed to disclose them upfront. When we called to address it, they claimed a refund wasn’t possible and instead offered a free oil change. We’ve since canceled our AAA membership and will never return to this facility again. 1 Reviews Rob miller Annapolis, MD Reviewed : 06/01/2025 Comment : Only went here because they had a coupon for $39.99 synthetic oil change. Made 2 separate appointments for my Kia and my Volkswagen. When I brought the Kia in, they told me they couldn't put synthetic oil in because my car wouldn't take it... and said they'd put conventional oil in, but it would be $30 more. I told them my car will most definitely take synthetic oil, in fact Kia recommends it, and it's ridiculous to charge me more for cheaper oil. After some argument, they made me sign a waiver but agreed to put synthetic oil in. I had also asked for the left turn signal lamp to be looked at because it was not working although I had changed the bulb. The result was that they didn't find anything wrong with it... Well it ain't working so there's something wrong with it! They charged me an extra $20 for some bs shop fee and because my car took 5.5 quarts and the coupon was only for 5. I was not happy at all with this place, but still wanted a less expensive synthetic oil change for my Jetta, so I brought that car in for my appointment a few days later. My $39.99 oil change this time cost $60 for 6 quarts of oil and took over TWO HOURS! They also completely ignored my request to fix the sunroof control. Needless to say, I will NEVER use a AAA auto service center again. Great job guys! 1 Reviews Brandon cook Annapolis, MD Reviewed : 05/29/2025 Comment : If I could give 0 stars I would. The repair service is horrible. I had my car towed there and there is absolutely no communication. After calling for updates 5 times in the past 3 days I was told they would call back with updates, and they never did, any of the 5 times. Recently called and spoke to the manager who claims he called me and left a message even though I had no missed calls or messages. They never ordered parts until 21 hours after they looked at it and I called them back yet again. Now I have to continue paying for a rental because they can't make the simple fix and will have to call again tomorrow I am sure. So another 150 beacuse they couldn't order parts. Avoid this place at all costs, they don't care. 1 Reviews Dan buan Annapolis, MD Reviewed : 02/13/2025 Comment : AAA gave bad advice. They told me that I needed a new fuel injection throttle body for $2,000. Then they said that they found an OEM part that was $500 less (really?). I was also told that the battery was not AAA and needed to be replaced. I had to produce a receipt not only showing that it was indeed a AAA battery but it was still under warranty. I told them to replace the battery and they replaced it under warranty. They charged me $90 for diagnostics and then when I started the car it was fine. All it needed was a new battery. I drove it to an auto mechanic and he checked everything out and the car is fine. I would have been out $2,000 had I not produced the battery receipt. Dont trust this shop. They dont do a good job of diagnosing problems. They have no credibility in my mind. DanAAA gave bad advice. They told me that I needed a new fuel injection throttle body for $2,000. I had a coupon for a free oil change. I knew to call ahead and make sure to understand the cost for a non-standard oil change (i.e. synthetic oil). They had this already in my reservation, so that was all fine. When they called to tell me that my oil had changed, they indicated there was a nail in my tire and asked if I wanted it fixed for $29.99. I called my normal tire place and they were open, so I called back and declined. The person then proceeded to tell me that they could hear the leak to try and use some scare tactic. (My tire person is very close, so I still declined). As I was getting to my car, the mechanic had realized he left his vape pen in my car. Ok great. Then, I go to my tire place and guess what....no nail or screw to be found. I fully think they lied to me to try and squeeze more money out of me. I won't go into what happened the first time, but this was just abysmal and I would steer clear of getting service done on your car here. I'm also considering not renewing my AAA membership as this is just an awful business practice.I've had now two bad experiences with the service department here, but tonight just was terrible.
